Full read-write Claude connector for Wufoo
Let Claude read, filter, and triage incoming Wufoo entries
Stop sorting submissions by hand. Claude reads and filters entries as they arrive, summarizes the ones that need follow-up, and only fires webhooks or notifications once you approve.
Wufoo is SurveyMonkey's online form builder, used to collect registrations, payments, leads, and survey responses through embeddable forms. Teams want Claude to do more than glance at entries: to pull and filter submissions, submit new entries, and drive follow-up as they arrive.
What is a Wufoo MCP server?
A Wufoo MCP server is a small hosted service that exposes Wufoo's data and actions to Claude over the Model Context Protocol, so Claude can responses and submissions inside your own account. We build it as a custom connector with separate read and write tools, and destructive actions stay gated behind your approval.
What can Wufoo's current connector do today?
Today, Wufoo has no official Claude or MCP connector that we are aware of, and its public API is read-leaning: it can list forms and reports, fetch and filter entries, submit new entries, and register or remove webhooks, but it cannot create forms or edit fields. A custom Wufoo connector wraps that API so Claude can read and triage submissions and drive webhook-based follow-up with scoped, human-in-the-loop controls.
What does full read-write Wufoo access unlock?
Read-write Wufoo access lets Claude pull and filter incoming entries, summarize submissions, submit new entries on your behalf, register or remove webhooks to drive follow-up, and export filtered submissions on request. The sorting and routing that used to mean manual clicks happen where the data already lives, after you approve. Building forms and editing fields still happen in the Wufoo builder, since the API is read-only for form structure.
- Pull and filter entries from a form to summarize submissions
- Submit a new entry to a form from data you provide
- Export a filtered set of submissions for a report once you approve
- Register or remove a webhook so a matching entry drives follow-up
- Flag entries that need follow-up in your summary or a connected task tool
- List forms and reports to point Claude at the right submissions
Can Claude create a form in Wufoo?
No. The Wufoo public API does not expose form-creation or field-editing endpoints, so building and editing forms stays in the Wufoo builder. Claude works on the supported surface instead: reading forms and entries, submitting new entries, exporting filtered submissions, and managing webhooks for follow-up.
Can Claude triage incoming entries in Wufoo?
Triaging entries is something Claude can do: it pulls and filters submissions from a form, summarizes them, and flags the ones that need follow-up in your summary or a connected task tool so the right person picks them up. It can also export a filtered set of submissions for a report once you approve the action.
Will Claude send notifications without my approval in Wufoo?
No. Registering a webhook or triggering a notification in Wufoo is a separate, gated write action. Claude can prepare the follow-up step, but it fires only after you confirm it. The connector uses your own scoped API key and never has more access to a form or its entries than you already have.
How a Wufoo connector works
We build a small MCP server that authenticates to Wufoo with your scoped API key over its REST API. Read tools (list forms, fetch entries, read reports) and write tools (submit an entry, register or remove a webhook) are separated, and outbound or irreversible actions like adding a webhook require your confirmation. Claude only ever has the access your own Wufoo account already has, and we can add IP allowlisting where your plan supports it.
