Full read-write Claude connector for Pipedrive
Make Claude create deals, log activities, and update records in Pipedrive
Stop switching tabs to keep the CRM current. Claude creates the deal in the right pipeline, logs the call or meeting, and updates the fields right where you discuss the work, with closing moves and deletions held for your approval.
Pipedrive is a sales-focused CRM built around the deal pipeline, where teams track contacts, organizations, and the activities that move deals to close. People want Claude to do more than report on the pipeline: to create deals, log activities, and update records as work happens.
What is a Pipedrive MCP server?
A Pipedrive MCP server is a small hosted service that exposes Pipedrive's data and actions to Claude over the Model Context Protocol, so Claude can manage contacts, deals, and pipeline inside your own account. We build it as a custom connector with separate read and write tools, and destructive actions stay gated behind your approval.
What can Pipedrive's current connector do today?
Today, Pipedrive's available Claude connection tends to be read-leaning or covers only a thin slice of the API, so Claude can surface deals and contacts but often cannot reliably create or move them. A custom connector adds scoped write actions like creating deals, logging activities, and updating fields with human-in-the-loop controls.
What does full read-write Pipedrive access unlock?
Full read-write Pipedrive access lets Claude create a deal in the right pipeline and stage, add or update people and organizations, log calls and meetings, advance a deal forward, and attach notes, all from the same conversation where you discuss the work. The CRM upkeep that used to mean switching tabs happens inline.
- Create a new deal in the right pipeline and stage with its value and owner
- Add or update a person and link them to an organization
- Log a call, meeting, or email as an activity on a deal
- Move a deal to the next stage or mark it won or lost after you confirm
- Add a note to a deal or contact summarizing a conversation
- Find every open deal matching a filter and propose follow-up activities
Can Claude create and update deals in Pipedrive?
Yes. Claude can create a deal in the right pipeline and stage, set its value and owner, and update fields as the work moves. A custom connector adds these scoped write tools, so Claude does the data entry instead of only surfacing deals that already exist.
Can Claude log calls and activities on a deal in Pipedrive?
Claude can log a call, meeting, or email as an activity on a deal, add or update the linked person and organization, and attach a note summarizing the conversation. The activity logging that used to mean switching tabs happens inline, in the same chat where you talk through the work.
Will Claude move a deal to won or lost in Pipedrive without my approval?
No. Advancing a deal that closes it as won or lost, along with deleting a record, is a gated write action. Claude prepares the change and shows you exactly what will update, but it only applies after you confirm. The connector never gets more access than your own Pipedrive account has.
How a Pipedrive connector works
We build a small MCP server that authenticates to Pipedrive with OAuth and the narrowest scopes the work needs. Read tools (search deals, read contacts) and write tools (create deal, log activity, update fields) are separated, and destructive actions like deleting a record or marking a deal lost require your confirmation. Claude only ever has the access your own Pipedrive account already has.
