Can Claude revise my active listings in eBay?
Yes. With a full read-write eBay connector, Claude can revise an active listing's price, title, or item specifics and update inventory quantity for a SKU or variation. It authenticates as your account through eBay's OAuth, so it only ever has the seller access you already have.
Can Claude reply to buyer messages and send offers in eBay?
Claude can reply to a buyer's message or pre-sale question and send a Best Offer or offer to watchers on a listing. Buyer messages are a gated write action: Claude drafts the reply, but it is only sent after you approve it, so nothing reaches a buyer by surprise.
Will Claude issue refunds in eBay without my approval?
No. Refunds and returns are separate, gated actions that never run automatically. Claude can prepare a return or refund and mark an order shipped with tracking, but each is held for your confirmation before it is issued. You decide which actions run freely and which require approval first.
How an eBay connector works
